LED Line Lights:

Featuring the industries breakthrough performance line lights for imaging applications requiring ultra-high intensity with unprecedented uniformity.  Our line lights feature ease of integration an adjustable lens to emit a narrow beam of light which can be focused from as close as 10mm to up to several meters away.  Enhanced cooling options include either integrated fan or our new computer controlled micro-flow compressed air thermal control systems. Applications include, front or back illumination for line scan cameras for the web converting industry or other high speed scanning applications.  Patent pending micro-lens produces a homogeneous beam output in a uniform and powerful straight line.  Solid state performance assures 75,000 hour lifetime. Metaphase offers the largest selection of standard length line lights available (from 2” to 120” in 5" increments) which allows you to buy just the right amount of light that you need saving you cost without compromising performance.   Our high intensity line lights are available in high power MetaBright™ and standard MetaLight™ Series.

 

Applications:
Line Lights are usually used with line scan cameras, but area array cameras are used in some applications. General applications include:

  • Geometry measurement of long targets
  • Direct position measurement
