Behaving much like a dome light which has been often called the perfect light due it's ability to mimic the effects of natural outdoor sunlight on an overcast day, yet with a profile better suited to the line scan camera. Our tube lights provide an intense yet uniform light free of shadows for inspecting elongated objects with highly reflective, specular or uneven surfaces.
Although first used by line integrators in the beverage and textile industries our Diffuse Tube Illuminators are now being used in hundreds of applications around the world where ever pass through speeds, uniformity and shadowless illumination are preferred. Application:
The diffuse Dome Light has a high level of diffuse illumination which eliminates shadows and greatly reduces the effect of specular reflections.
