Thin Backlight

Thin Backlights

Backlights provide both uniformity (±5%) and high intensity for back lighting applications. Different sizes for area, linear, thin backlight and custom made models are also available.

Application:

By Illuminating the target from the rear using Metaphase's backlights, the target will create a dark silhouotted image against a uniform background, thus, providing a high contrast image and consistent edge definition.

Common applications include:

  1. Critical dimension measurement such as measuring the threads on a glass bottle.
  2. Position measurements
  3. Locating defects such as cracks in blades
  4. Measurement comparators
  5. Location measurement, such as checking holes in printed circuit boards
  6. Components location verification
  7. Backlighting for scanning applications.
