Thin Backlights
Backlights provide both uniformity (±5%) and high intensity for back lighting applications. Different sizes for area, linear, thin backlight and custom made models are also available.
Application:
By Illuminating the target from the rear using Metaphase's backlights, the target will create a dark silhouotted image against a uniform background, thus, providing a high contrast image and consistent edge definition.
Common applications include:
- Critical dimension measurement such as measuring the threads on a glass bottle.
- Position measurements
- Locating defects such as cracks in blades
- Measurement comparators
- Location measurement, such as checking holes in printed circuit boards
- Components location verification
- Backlighting for scanning applications.
