Metaphase Technologies, Inc. RoHS Compliancy Statement

In response to the new environmental directives being legislated throughout the world, Metaphase Technology has established a comprehensive program that is intended to ensure that our products comply with the new laws. At the time of this posting, the key environmental directives are from the European Community, with many countries either following these directives or instituting their own. The most prominent directive is the RoHS (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances). The RoHS legislation restricts the use of certain hazardous substances to levels of less than 100-1000 ppm used in electronic products. The RoHS and equivalent directives prohibit use of the following substances in products placed into the market effective July 1, 2006:

· Lead · Hexavalent Chromium · Mercury · Cadmium · Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) · Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDE)

Metaphase Technologies has received numerous requests from our customers to self certify our product compliance to these environmental regulations. In order to serve all our valuable customers, we have audited and validated from our vendors that all of our products are compliant with the RoHS directive. As of July 1, 2006. All MetaLight and MetaBright products are RoHS compliant and all RoHS compliant wettable metal interconnects are compatible with lead-free solder processes.
