Metaphase Technologies is currently hiring:
Position:
Technical Sales/Applications Engineer to provide pre and post sales support for Metaphase LED illumination used primarily in the Machine Vision market.
Task & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provide TECHNICAL pre & post sales support
Prepare sales action plans and schedules
Assist in custom & new product management
Maintain sales activity records and reports
Develop sales proposals & quotations
Assist in trade show & sales presentations
Perform product demonstrations
Assist Sales & Marketing groups
Obtain understanding of customer's application requirements in order to recommend proper LED illumination solutions
Education and Experience –Candidate should have a BS in Engineering, Physics, or Optics. Experience in Machine Vision or factory automation a plus. Willing to train the right candidate.
Key Competencies – Strong verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated & goal driven; comfortable being in front of customers; strong technical background in one or all of the following: Optics, Video, Machine Vision and Illumination.
